2016-NASSCOM IoT Innovation Challenge-Infant Healthcare Monitoring System-Akshaya College of Engg&Tech

Winner of NASSCOM IoT Innovation Challenge
Project Title: Infant Healthcare Monitoring System
Abstract
In Real Time current procedures for Infants and Neonates patient monitoring in India with special attention for individual become uphill task for Each and Every Physician in a medical Centre. Moreover the less attention and less periodical monitoring of INFANTS generate the poor latency in the field of healthcare.
This also causes more deaths due to delayed diagnosis of disease for infants in the health care domain. The gifted technology called IOT is a complete solution of the above stated problem.
This device is especially designed and developed for Infant and Neonate ICU’s. In health care domain deaths due to delayed diagnosis of disease for infants and Neonates become accountable.
In the Area of Health care monitoring system, dedicated Infant Patient Monitoring with IOT enabled devices are not available. To overcome this scenario, dedicated devices for Infants and neonates are essential. The sensors used for monitoring in this design are more suitable for Infants and Neonates.
The sensors are used to measure Temperature, SPO2, Blood Pressure, Pulse rate and Respiration Rate for the Infants. We proposed this design for the betterment of healthcare with the social responsibility.
